Dearest AzTEC Cohorts,

It has been quite some time since we have conjured up the resting spirits of the forgotten AzTEC peoples. The economy, gas prices, and changes in occupation have caused this once thriving civilization to disperse and disappear into the annuls of history, with only a sliver of hope for a revival or, at the very least, a PBS documentary by the likes of Ken Burns to uncover the story of the AzTECs at the peak of their time in history.

I can almost hear Morgan Freeman now; poetically describing how the AzTEC peoples were forced to co-mingle with the PERUvians (People Estranged Resulting from Unemployment). They eventually came to be called the AzTEC-PERUvians, known for their unusual wit and knowledge, fondness for cuisine from the neighboring Filibertos Tribe, and monthly ritual warfare known as 'Wolfy'.

So what do you say we give Mr. Freeman something to talk about?

As we have ashamedly abandoned our ancestral AzTEC roots, it only seems fitting that we go and visit a ghost town to commence the new season of AzTEC expeditions. Oh, and Groupon has a good deal.

$5 for two admissions to the Superstition Mountain Museum. So get on and buy some tickets guys. We can hit up Lost Dutchman and Goldfield Ghost Town and whatever else is out that direction. We'll start looking at dates in the near future, but first let's buy some tickets. Anyone interested?
